If you are a part of India, you must be aware of ruthlessness and dominance violence faced by poor Indian farmers. Our real unsung heroes who should ideally be crowned for their striving efforts actually die in the pursuit of a better life. If this is what’s happening, how can we even expect India to be called as a ‘developed golden bird? ‘Until each person of the country feeds his stomach with a 2-time meal, a country can never be called as actually developed !
To actuate the measures taken in this direction led a prolific writer, director and philosopher Sudhanshu Sharma decided to capture it into Camera’s eye. Based on the novel ‘Kalichaat’, his debut creation initiated to aware people regarding the deep-rooted problems of India. Kalichaat is nothing but the sum total of hurdles and misfortunes undesirably included in the fate of each Indian farmer. After working harder from dawn till night too, a farmer has to starve for the very basic amenities of life are a blot on our society and its so-called drivers.
The film has been amazingly directed in its original (Malwi) language to describe the whole situation realistically. In fact, the whole cast and crew belongs to the same region and has invested their complete efforts to portray each moment as it is. In not a single moment you will feel monotonous or unrealistic because the protagonist catches attention from beginning to end.
Kalichaat has now become a global matter of discussion as the film has been applauded on national as well as international podium. The film is a must-watch to awaken our so-called bureaucrats regarding the starving farmers who die in the quest for a better life. Kalichaat is an epic creation from the region of Kishore Kumar and other artists who have worked brilliantly to mesmerize audiences !!
